  • Aggie - I have one question. How did that "Abstinence Only" thing work of Bristol Palin? I truly don't mean to be snarky when I ask that. Her parents were the poster children for "Abstinence Only" but their own daughter couldn't follow that ideology and that brings me to my point.

  • This is for Aggie - Actually the Catholic Church does tell its members who to vote for. I remember when Sen. Kerry was running against Bush for the office of President, the Catholic Church told its members to back Bush because Bush was against abortion.

  • It is said that before you judge another human being, walk a mile in their shoes. I applaud ex Gov. Cody for at least trying to understand the situation of many of the poor, metally ill, and homeless citizens of this country. Maybe Gov. Walker of Wisconsin should try this for a few months.

  • The Consitution already takes care of this. There is no need to enact another law to ban Sharia law. Republicans are just pandering to their base in South Dakota so sponsoring this law is a futile waste of time and tax payer dollars.

  • KLuck, maybe it is time to actually listen to her testimony. She testified that it should be included in insurance plans because it is not only used to prevent preganancy but it also helps with female diseases and maladies that have nothing to do with pregnancy.

  • No, I'm certainly not or ever was fan of President Bush by any means, but I wouldn't think that kind of joke is funny even with Bush's name substituted. What I thought of him as a president has nothing to do with trying to attack him or his mother through such a disgustingly racist joke.

  • Yes it is difficult when "children" act up. I had the misfortune of sitting next to one while traveling from O'Hare to Milwaukee. He was about mid 50's with a business suit on. After an hour delay on the runway, he proceeded to let the whole plane know of his displeasure.
